Zofia is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Studies, where she has worked for the last 7 years. Her research focusses on the role of the line manager, employee health and wellbeing, ageing and improving workplace practices, and she encourages employers and policy makers to consider the importance of ‘good work’ for improving organisational outcomes. Zofia has a PhD in management, focussing on the management of temporary staff in healthcare settings. Zofia has co-authored a book on the future of work and has recently published a book entitled 'How to be the line manager you never had', an evidenced based book highlighting the importance of line managers for employee health and productivity and providing practical insights about improving the line managerial role. Zofia has been placed on HR Magazines Most Influential Thinker list for the last three years.
