Steve is a Consultant Occupational Physician and Principal Medical Adviser in the Health and Safety Executive. He leads the Occupational Health Team in the Health and Work Branch in HSE. Steve provides occupational medicine expertise to colleagues across HSE and external stakeholders in a wide range of sectors. He provides the clinical oversight for the Approved and Appointed doctor systems for statutory medical surveillance and fitness to work assessments. This includes lead, asbestos, ionising radiation, diving and work in compressed air.
