Dr Sarah Pass is a practice-based academic specialising in employee experience and engagement. With over 20 years’ experience across the public sector—including NHS England, the Civil Service, Local Authorities, and the RAF—she partners with organisations to design and embed impactful people policies and engagement strategies. A Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Business School (NTU), Sarah combines academic insight with practical expertise to drive meaningful organisational change. She serves on the Engage for Success (EFS) Advisory Board, leads several national EFS projects—including the UK Annual Engagement Survey—and chairs the EFS East Midlands Area Network. Sarah is a Fellow of the RSA, an Academic Associate of the CIPD, and a member of the Involvement and Participation Association (IPA) Working Insights Group. Sarah was recognised as an Influential Thinker by HR Magazine in 2023.
