Sarah Cousins is the Head of Organisational Change at the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the largest independent funder of heart and circulatory diseases research in the UK. Sarah has worked at BHF for 7 years, and over the last 3 years has been responsible for how people understand and adapt to new hybrid ways of working, from helping people to adapt to the change to ensuring that teams, and the organisation as a whole, is able to operate effectively in their new model, known as Flexibly Connected. In 2022, BHF won the HR Excellence Award for Best Flexible Working Strategy. Prior to working at BHF, Sarah led people change projects in the corporate sector. Sarah is a strategic people leader, experienced in organisational, culture and behaviour change; organisation design and development; and business planning. She is a Chartered Member of CIPD, as well as a qualified coach.
