Director of Workplace Wellbeing, iOH and Founder, Gaia Workplace Wellbeing
Sam Langford is Director of Workplace Wellbeing for The Association of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Professionals (iOH) and Founder of Gaia Workplace Wellbeing Ltd. She is a specialist in work-related trauma and trauma-informed practice, combining lived experience of trauma, frontline service, and academic grounding to champion psychologically safe, compassionate workplaces. Her career as a Police Crime Scene Investigator sparked a commitment to improving support for those in challenging roles. Sam holds a Master's in Workplace Health and Wellbeing, is a qualified Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) Manager, and an Associate Trainer with March on Stress. Through Gaia Workplace Wellbeing, she delivers trauma awareness training and strategic consultancy, helping organisations understand the psychological impact of demanding work and build resilient cultures. Known for her thoughtful, relatable style, Sam empowers leaders and teams to move from awareness to action, supporting staff wellbeing through trauma-informed principles.
