Prof Richard Heron
Richard is a visiting professor of Work Health and Organisations at the University of Surrey, and at Nottingham University Business School. He is an independent Chief Health Officer consulting clients including World Economic Forum, RAND Europe and Cognacity. For over 15 years Richard was Chief Medical Officer and Vice-President Health for global energy company bp with responsibilities including OH occupational health, wellbeing, industrial hygiene, and public health in 65 countries. He has held prior HSE and risk management leadership roles with AstraZeneca. He co-chairs the International Occupational Medicine Society Collaborative (IOMSC) >50 National Societies of Occupational Health and is an independent member of DWP Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC).
