Dr Noreen Tehrani
Dr Noreen Tehrani is a Chartered Occupational, Counselling, Health and Coaching Psychologist specialising in workplace wellbeing and psychological trauma. Following a diverse career in medical research, manufacturing, and employee support at the Post Office, she founded Noreen Tehrani Associates in 1997. Her doctoral research at the University of Nottingham examined workplace trauma, forming the basis of her continuing work in trauma-informed and psychologically safe organisations. Noreen has published extensively on workplace bullying, trauma recovery, and resilience. She has provided psychological support following major incidents including the Manchester Arena bombing, Grenfell Tower fire, and London terrorist attacks. A former Chair of the British Psychological Society’s Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Section, she has represented the BPS at the European Federation of Psychological Associations. Her current research explores compassion fatigue, sanctuary trauma, moral injury, and embitterment syndrome, focusing on how organisations can foster recovery, meaning, and post-traumatic growth among employees.
