Nicholas Collins is the Flexible Working Lead at NHS England, working within the People directorate. He supports the spread and adoption of flexible working across the NHS by refining national policy, shaping guidance, and commissioning educational tools and resources. His work includes developing national products such as toolkits and e‑learning, and collating evidence on how flexible working affects staff experience, workforce participation and service delivery. Nicholas also works across programmes including e‑rostering enablement, refreshed guidance and the development of future staff standards, helping ensure flexible working is implemented fairly and consistently across the NHS.
