Mark Cartwright joined National Highways in 2020 where he leads the Commercial Vehicle Incident Prevention team and Driving for Better Business programme. With a career spanning over 30 years in transport and logistics, including developing the award-winning Van Excellence programme at Logistics UK, Mark is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a recipient of the Prince Michael Road Safety Award. Mark is dedicated to promoting best practices across the industry and is passionate about the essential role employers play in supporting driver wellbeing and ensuring safety on the road.
