Magdalena is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for the Future of Work and Wellbeing, leading one of the workstreams of the Pissarides Review on the same subject. With a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Cambridge, her academic research has focused on job quality, capabilities and workers' wellbeing. Before her current role, she served as a senior analyst at the What Works Centre for Wellbeing, contributing to evidence-based practices. Her expertise extends to international consultancy, having served the population division of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) as a consultant on rights and development of migrant workers.
