Macarena is a medical doctor with a Master’s in Global Health and Development from University College London. She currently serves as Head of Clinical Product and Operations at Simplyhealth, where she leads the development, governance, and operational delivery of clinical services, working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and business. She has a strong interest in women’s health, particularly in addressing systemic gaps in access, quality, and outcomes. Her work is driven by a passion for understanding how technology can improve population health at scale, enable earlier and more effective interventions, and support more personalised models of care. She is also deeply interested in longevity and how healthcare systems can evolve towards preventative, sustainable, and long-term health optimisation.
