Lutfur Ali, Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, is Senior Policy and Practice Advisor (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) at the CIPD and a Non-Executive Director of the Business Continuity Institute. With over 35 years’ experience of board-level leadership and organisational transformation, he has advised Ministers, national inquiries and public bodies, and led change across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Drawing on extensive experience of governance, workforce strategy and EDI, Lutfur brings a practical, evidence-led perspective on building cultural competence, strengthening leadership and creating inclusive organisations where people and businesses can thrive. He is particularly interested in how employers can respond constructively to ensuring that inclusion remains integral to sustainable organisational performance and stronger business outcomes.
