Dr Louise Hancock works as a Consultant Occupational Health Physician at Medigold Health. She is the Lead Medical Review Officer at Hampton Knight and was appointed as the Chief Medical Officer for two large public listed companies in 2020. Her daily practice involves Pensions, Aviation work and Case Management. She is Honorary Secretary for the Occupational Medicine section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM). Dr Hancock is also a Specialty Doctor in Medical Oncology at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, treating patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. She trained up to ST5 level in the specialty at The Royal Marsden and Imperial College. She was awarded the Peter Taylor Award for her dissertation titled ‘Mixed methods study of infection risk in patients with solid tumours in the workplace’. This was part of her MSc at the University of Manchester, and she presented her work at Occupational Health 2025 in Belfast.
