Meike joined bp in 2021. In her role as bp’s accessibility lead she is responsible for developing, driving and executing the global accessibility and neurodiversity strategy. She feels strongly about creating inclusive work environments that allow everyone to thrive. Prior to joining bp Meike worked in the financial industry for almost 20 years, mainly in investment management and product roles at HSBC and J.P. Morgan. From 2017-2021 she led the neurodiversity workstream of the Diversity Project, an initiative supported by 100 City firms to improve diversity and inclusion. In 2019, Meike won the 'Role Model of the Year' award for promoting neurodiversity in the financial industry and beyond, followed by the “Diversity Initiative of the Year” award in 2020.
