Ian MacRae is a Division of Occupational Psychology committee member and Research Board member. He is an independent researcher, consultant, and the Managing Director of High Potential Psychology, specialising in the psychology of work, digital communication, and emerging technologies. Holding an MSc from University College London, and BSc from the University of British Columbia, MacRae has developed psychometric tests, including the widely used High Potential Traits Inventory (HPTI), which have been completed over a million times globally. He is also the award-winning author of ten books that have been translated into more than a dozen languages. His titles include High Potential, Dark Social, Myths of Work, and Web of Value. A frequent speaker, MacRae's evidence-based insights have been featured in prominent media outlets, including The Financial Times, The Guardian, GQ, and BBC World News. He is a regular contributor to PsychologyToday.
