We will describe how we have used coaching to transfer learning from Safety Leadership courses into the wider culture of the organisation. The case study will show how coaching conversations can sit neatly in key places right across the organisation in a way that encourages everyone in the business to use coaching conversations to protect the health, safety and well-being of each other. Instead of training every individual, the learning becomes part of what everyone does, and people start to learn from each other rather than being more formally taught and a fully integrated safety culture begins to emerge.
