An experienced Business Psychologist and leader, Ben started his career at Thornhills, a leadership development consultancy, before moving to Greater Manchester Police as Principal Occupational Psychologist. From there, he joined Sir Cary Cooper's wellbeing firm, Robertson Cooper, where roles included Consultant, Head of Product Development and Business Development & Marketing Director. In 2010, he became Managing Director, leading on proposition and growth until he took the business through acquisition in 2022, staying on for a further 2 years. In 2025, Ben joined Rand Europe as Senior Research Leader. Drawing on his experience of working with global employers, he leads on engaging clients and partners with Rand's evidence-led thinking, its unique research capability and, increasingly, its products. Ben is a champion for Rand's ability to deliver unbiased research that enables policy and organisational decision-makers to do their best work. He also consults independently as Business Wellbeing Expert Ltd.
