Anju Dhir is a dynamic leader driving engagement and wellbeing at Birmingham City Council, where she champions initiatives that support 10,000 colleagues serving 1.2 million residents. Armed with an Executive MBA from the University of Birmingham, Anju blends strategic insight with a passion for people. Beyond her council role, she’s a Director at TEDxWolverhampton, curating thought-provoking events that amplify bold ideas. A dedicated school governor and trustee for a Multi-Academy Trust, Anju is deeply committed to education and community impact. Her career began as a Chartered Environmental Health Officer, safeguarding public health and sharing expertise as a visiting lecturer across West Midlands universities. Today, she continues to empower others by coaching and mentoring minority groups, helping them navigate challenges and thrive.
