This session will frame the Neurodiversity Stream 2024 summarising key learnings from our report (McDowall, Doyle & Kiseleva) which we co-produced with Neurodiversity in Business. In this session I will focus on the strengths which neurodivergent talent brings which are remarkably constant across different neurotypes. I will then outline challenges experienced which also have some consistency across neurotypes, but challenges with specific skills differ. Next I will outline how wellbeing differed between groups, and the key influences on wellbeing. Notably, the most important aspects are people's career satisfaction, and the experience of psychological safety. I will conclude by outlining several key foci for organisational practice to ensure that wellbeing initiatives are neuroinclusive.
