The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England course is designed to empower individuals with the confidence and skills to support people experiencing mental ill health. Through this course, you will learn how to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health challenges and how to respond appropriately using the nationally recognised ALGEE Action Plan.

Participants are taught how to listen without judgement, offer reassurance, and provide practical support, including how to respond effectively in crisis situations. The course emphasises early intervention, helping you guide someone toward suitable professional or community-based support before issues escalate.
