Hawk and Heath Stand: 6

Pursuing the Power of Nature

Forest Bathing, also known as Shinrin-Yoku, is a type of eco-therapy that originated in Japan. The practice involves immersing oneself in nature while mindfully engaging with the five senses.

We have developed our own method, combining traditional techniques and modern technology.

It may sound strange, but we can show you how to forest bathe virtually!

We understand that joining a group forest bathing session is not for everyone. Scheduling issues, social anxiety, transport, funds... we don't want to add to any of the stresses of modern life.

The Hawk and Heath method focuses on empowering the individual to take their own forest bathing journey. We want to share our knowledge and teach as many people as we can how to forest bathe, through our app.

What's on the app?

We've created a series of videos to teach about the science and history of Shinrin-Yoku, as well as short invitations and activity ideas to help you get the most out of your time in nature.

Organised into categories, our videos range from the very basics of getting out into nature, to family friendly activities and some more adventurous invitations.
