Taking Gender into Consideration in Workplace Health

13 Mar 2024
Health and Conditions

There is a tendency to under-recognise the importance of biological sex and socio-cultural gender differences on both physical and emotional health.  There is much that can be gained through more gender informed health interventions. This session will provide:

  • Awareness of the difference between biological sex and sociocultural gender
  • An appreciation of how sex and gender can impact on health and wellbeing
  • Increased appreciation of what can be gained from factoring in a gendered approach to health and wellbeing.
