A discussion will be had around the specific difficulties faced by those returning to or attempting to remain in work who have had bowel cancer or experience bowel conditions such as IBD or IBS and the ways in which workplaces can support them. We will focus on: Common symptoms, why most of these aren't necessarily bowel related and how will these impact on work ability Useful techniques and approaches to support a person practically. What cultural changes could be helpful when considering how to manage bowel conditions in the workplace.
