As the population ages, and the likelihood of individuals with more than one long-term health condition also increases, so will the need for their care.  For many employees, this may mean that they become working carers, often having to balance the needs of work and caring – which can become both physically and emotionally demanding, and can of course have implications for work.  If organisations are not already thinking about how to support working carers – now is the time to start!
