With alcohol harm costing businesses over £9bn annually, this presentation shows employers how to engage employees to reduce alcohol harms. From early identification of potential problems to placing alcohol firmly on the wellbeing agenda, it’s important that employers have the confidence and skills to tackle this sensitive issue. Lauren takes a stepwise approach to developing strategies and practices that support both business aims and employee wellbeing. Attendees will be able to: - Recognise different harms caused by alcohol at work - Identify how the workplace can contribute to alcohol problems - Explore ways of responding to employees who are affected - Promote a positive relationship with alcohol.
