Research has shown that presenteeism is a major source of productivity loss, more so than absenteeism. Yet presenteeism is poorly defined and measured - and as a result it is seldom well managed by employers and their line managers. In this session, Ben will introduce a new way of defining, and therefore measuring, presenteeism and ask the audience to challenge their pre-conceptions around the topic. Takeaways focus on enabling line managers to support employees based on the true drivers of being present at work when not fully productive.
