Neurodiversity
This session will invite the delegates to revisit the concepts of remote and hybrid working which have become common place in many organisational context. Yet, there have also been 'back to the office' mandates, plus there are some workplaces where attendance is required in a physical location. What does this mean for neurodivergent workers? In this session I will cover: a) the opportunities of flexible and hybrid working such as reduced distractions and opportunity for individualised work environments b) the challenges of flexible and hybrid working such as ROMO (realisation of missing out) c) neurodiversity specific considerations such as sensory overwhelm, underwhelm, time planning and information processing d) implications for practice and policy.
