Our aim is to break the stigma, silence and shame surrounding mental health and suicide, with a national freephone helpline service 0808 115 1505 (open every Mon to Fri (8pm to midnight) and over the weekends (4pm to midnight).
We also offer a variety of training courses for businesses, to help support with raising awareness and subject specific courses related to burnout for leaders, suicide prevention, menopause in the workplace and chronic pain in the workplace.
Each year on 1st May we host a Remembrance Day evening for those who have been bereaved by suicide.
Mobile Wellbeing Hubs. These are specially adapted vehicles that provide mental health support to people rather than the other way around.
SOS advocates for compassion in society to encourage understanding, tolerance, and kindness. This also involves campaigning for social injustice, and addressing areas that contribute on an individual’s welfare and wellbeing.
