The Scottish Collaboration for Public Health Research and Policy (SCPHRP), based at the University of Edinburgh, brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to produce real-world evidence that improves health equitably across the UK and globally. Since 2008, SCPHRP has focused on identifying where change is most needed, supporting large-scale action, and building the national capacity required to turn research into impact.
For organisations grappling with rising stress and pressure at work, SCPHRP members bring this same public health expertise into the workplace. Drawing on approaches that have shifted behaviours at scale, from smoking reduction to vaccine uptake, they focus on the deeper drivers of wellbeing: culture, systems, leadership, and everyday working practices. Delegates will hear how this evidence is translated into a practical, step-by-step framework that helps organisations pinpoint what is holding them back, co-create solutions, and achieve lasting improvements in both employee wellbeing and performance.
