‘Industrial Safetytech (IS)’ such as artificial Intelligence, visual analytics, augmented reality, virtual reality, sensors, wearables, drones and robotics can redefine approaches to health and safety management. This tech has the potential to revolutionise approaches to protecting workers from exposures to harmful substances, noise and other health risks. The sandbox project in 2023 allowed evaluation and testing of innovations such as hearing protection in a simulated environment. Here we will share some of those project results.
